Addressing our Save the Dates
7 Mar
First off – I’ve realized recently that there’s no really good way of abbreviating the phrase “Save the Date”… STD? Anyway, I spent a good amount of time the other day hand-addressing each envelope. I was so into it, that I didn’t realize that my index finger had fallen numb after finishing about 14 of these. Morgan kept saying “why don’t you use a quill like regular calligraphers?” but since I hold my pen in a demented club-paw-like position it wouldn’t be any use. So, my Micron is my weapon of choice – and perhaps a visit to the acupuncturist!

OMG. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. I’m dying over here! AND… I thought I was the only calligrapher who prefers a micron! Crazy. Which one are you using?
Thank you! My micron of choice is usually the 03, but I think I may have gone with an 01 or an 02 on these. I can’t imagine using anything else!
Our save the date card just arrived today and it is beautiful. Exquisite design- the color of the inks, the paper choice, balloons, the ribbon (whew glad that decision is over) and of course seeing our names do a waltz across the envelope. Bravo lovely lady fingers.
